DAY 1: BUENOS AIRES

Arrival at local airport. Private transfer to Hotel.

Free afternoon. In the evening dinner and tango show at Café de los Angelitos

DAY 2: BUENOS AIRES

Breakfast at hotel.

In the morning, 4 hours City Tour Buenos Aires in private.

Visiting the most important Buenos Aires neighborhoods such as Montserrat, La Boca, Puerto Madero, Retiro, Recoleta, Palermo. And in San Telmo we will experience the ancient subterranean tunnels. The construction of tunnels started in the colonial era, and continued well into the 19th century. From ancient times, many myths have been created around the tunnels: people said they witnessed secret encounters, disappearances, murders or even political conspiracies. We’ll visit one of those tunnels, a part of a 3,000 square meter labyrinth below the streets of San Telmo: it’s a long corridor with vaulted ceiling with display cabinets exhibiting many items and utensils found underground.

DAY 3: BUENOS AIRES

Tour Tigre with Paraná River Delta Navigation.

Tigre, the gateway to the Paraná River Delta, a 14.000 square kilometers natural wonder. It encompasses thousands of luscious green islands filled with autochthonous species. Sailing the exotic channels of the Delta, we’ll experience a fascinating nautical experience. Back in Tigre, we’ll visit the elegant Paseo Victorica, where the Tigre Club & Casino is located. This splendid building, recently renovated and restored, presently houses the Municipal Museum of Fine Arts. Before we get back in town.

Finally, we embark on a 1 hour expedition across the channels of the Paraná River Delta, a luscious labyrinth (it comprises nearly 75.000 hectares) of islands, rivers, streams and creaks, full of leafy trees and autochthonous animal species, a mere 30 kilometers away from Buenos Aires. After this exciting nautical journey, our ship sets sail to the River Plate, and back to town.

Before we arrive at the Costanera Norte, we enjoy a beautiful view of Buenos Aires from the river.

DAY 4: BUENOS AIRES

Private transfer to Estancia El Ombú de Areco to enjoy a typical day at the Argentinean countryside.

The Late-Colonial style mansion built in 1880 by Lieutenant-general Pablo Riccheri, offers visitors a magnificent setting for an unforgettable stay. You can wander and discover our 300 hectares mainly dedicated to raise bovine cattle. To this purpose you can choose from our 70 horses (according to your riding skills) or carriage on sulkys. These rides can be scheduled according to seasons and climate temperature You might prefer cycling or a healthy walk. During the summer you may also swim on our swimming pools or just relax on a deck that looks onto the fields. After lunch there´s folk music, typical dances, “doma India” and/or “tropilla” . Bird watching lovers are provided with binoculars and books about local birds. You might also watch rural activities such as milking cows, driving cattle to harness, vaccination, ear-tagging, de-horning, branding, etc. There’s also football field, volleyball, billiard table, ping pong table, football table and “sapo”.

The small village of San Antonio de Areco is only 12 km away from the Estancia. You can visit the museums, a delightful little chocolate factory, leathercraft, silversmiths and artisans that keep the gaucho tradition alive!

One of the highlights is enjoying a typical ¨asado¨, as we call the barbecues in Argentina.

Transfer from Estancia El Ombú de Areco to the Hotel in Buenos Aires.

Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the city attractions.
