DAY 1: SALTA

Transfer from Salta Airport to Ayres de Salta hotel.

DAY 2: SALTA

Full Day Excursion to Cafayate.

The tour begins in the Lerma Valley crossing tobacco fields and villages of colonial architecture like Germany, which used to be the final point of the Belgrano railway. Entry to the Quebrada del Río Las Conchas where the curious formations eroded by wind and water will be the main attraction: the dunes, the toad, the bishop, the throat of the devil, the castles, the amphitheater, among others. Then continue on the route National 68 arriving in Cafayate, the youngest city of the Valles Calchaquíes recognized at the for the strains of its wines, in particular Torrontés, which can be tasted during visits to its wineries, whether handmade or industrial.

You return to Salta by the same route, but with a completely different sunlight whose illumination will modify the landscape in the ravine completely.

In the afternoon, you will return to Salta city.

DAY 4: SALTA

Full Day Excursion to Cachi.

Departure through the Lerma Valley to the town of Carril, continuing through Chicoana and entering through the Quebrada de los Laureles and then the Quebrada de Escoipe, you get to the Maray, from there you enter the Cuesta del Obispo, road with abundant curves that allows you to enjoy a panoramic view of the Enchanted valley and small houses with crops of corn and fruit trees. The highest point at 3384 meters above sea level reaches in the Stone of the Mill. Then the Los Cardones National Park along the TinTin Straight, the old road of the Inca. Arriving in Cachi observe a panoramic view of the Nevado de Cachi and Payogasta A visit to the town of Cachi is made touring the Museum of Archeology and the Church. The Return to Salta is by the same route.

Day 6: SALTA – PURMAMARCA

Full Day Excursion Tour to the Clouds

Departure from Salta towards the town of Tastil arriving then to San Antonio de los Cobres. A rest for lunch, to cross route 40 until you reach the Salinas Grandes, right on the border between Salta and Jujuy. Then the descent down Cuesta de Lipán where generally Condors are sighted, arrival to the typical town Purmamarca and its Hill of the Seven Colors.

DAY 7: PURMAMARCA

Full Day Excursion to Quebrada de Humahuaca

A trip through the Quebrada declared Heritage of the Humanity, where the landscape and the colors of the hills are combined with cultures equally colorful that inhabit this area. It’s a trip of social contact and a view to the ancestral. Begins with Purmamarca to observe the Hill of the Seven Colors, the Church and the Artisan market of the square. Step through the Posta de Hornillos, continuing towards the town of Tilcara to visit the Pucará Continue to Huacalera, step of the Tropic of Capricorn, from where you can see the colors of the hill called the Pollera de la Colla. Visit to the Uquía Church, where find the paintings of the Angels Arcabuceros (important vestige in the school area Cuzqueña). Arrival to Humahuaca with its important Cathedral and the Independence Monument (El Indio) by the sculptor Soto Avendaño.

Return after lunch to observe from the route Paleta del Pintor that frames the town of Maimara Arrival to San Salvador de Jujuy where You will visit the Hall of the Flag and the Cathedral Church, with its characteristic pulpit carved in wood and laminated in gold and the statues of Lola Mora.

DAY 8: PURMAMARCA – SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

DAY 9: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

Half Day Excursion Moon Valley and Death Valley.

DAY 10: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

Full Day Excursion Salt Flat and Altiplanic Lagoons

On this tour, you visit Piedras Rojas located in the Salar de Aguas Calientes with its fascinating and beautiful landscape of reddish color, which is highlighted by its amazing geological formation, product of the Iron oxidation. Then we continue on towards the Altiplano to explore the Miscanti lagoons and Miñiques at more than 4,200 meters above sea level, are surrounded by large and imposing volcanoes, originated by the elevation of the Andes Mountain Range and that in its around you can observe a variety of birds and animals in their natural habitat. It continues the travel to Laguna Chaxa, a stage of Spectacular beauty that is divided into several mirrors of water, where large numbers of flamingos live and other birds such as big parinas and girls. By last, before returning, while the landscape gives us breathtaking views of the Licancabur volcanoes and Láscar, visit Toconao of colonial architecture typical, its bell tower and church of San Lucas, the First National Monument.

DAY 11: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

Full Day Excursion to the Tatio and Machuca Geysers

The trip to the highlands begins during the early morning to reach one of the most geothermal fields important in the world, the Tatio Geysers, surrounded by emanations of water and steam. Enjoy the beauty of the Andes and with this natural scenario offers a reponedor breakfast. The visit continues to the Rustic Pozón where enjoy the hot springs that gives us the Mountain range. Taking the road back to San Pedro de Atacama can enjoy the beauty of the landscape, native flora and fauna to finish in the town of Machuca, place of shepherds of llamas, nowadays this adobe house, straw and cactus wood is dedicated to tourism offering local products such as Andean crafts, meat from I call, sopaipillas and empanadas. DAY 12: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

Half Day Archaeological Tour

San Pedro de Atacama is the archaeological capital of Chile, not only its landscapes are part of its attraction. Archaeological sites are covered most important in the sector and will travel to the past to know about the origin of the Atacameña culture or Licanantai, Pukará de Quitor is not important just for local history, but it is for the history of Chile through the Battle of Quitor (1540) one of the first clashes between spanish and natives. In the Atacameña Farm it will look like a family combines the ancestral traditions of agriculture and livestock with tourism, tasting some local products, then the Village of Tulor, corresponds to the oldest settlement in the Salar de Atacama basin and one of the first evidence of sedentary lifestyle in the region.
